Join us on Lake Lanier the last weekend in March! We are SO excited! And we are SO thankful for our session speakers and breakout session speakers who are super excited with us! After an overwhelming response and 200 moms on the wait list due to the first retreat filling up so quickly–we have decided to add a SECOND retreat! We did our VERY BEST to choose another location for this retreat–but we had quite the challenge finding a resort willing to give us such affordable prices. We are SO thankful to all our breakout speakers and main speakers who are willing to do a SECOND retreat with us!!! We have a few surprises in store for this 2nd retreat too!!! While we considered doing just ONE big retreat–we prayed through this and to keep this retreat a RETREAT and small enough for moms to really connect–we will keep our retreats at 400 attendees per retreat. We are praying that these 2 retreats will serve all the moms who are in need of a connecting retreat–and we are also hopeful we’ll have moms who come who may be willing to help us with regional retreats in the future! Our second retreat is scheduled for March 23rd-25thth at the Lake Lanier Legacy Lodge and Conference Center Registration will begin September 28, 2011. Our first retreat filled up in 48 hours, our second in 9 hours so stay tuned and consider signing up for the newsletter to get registered for 2012! Moms on the wait list will be able to register a day prior to registration opening! If you are signed up for the 1st retreat, but your roommate was unable to get in–you may move to the 2nd retreat also!
If you would like to come one day early we will have a special day created just for the mom that really needs an added getaway. This year the resort is giving us every room and meeting room so with theater seating we will be able to accommodate more adoption moms, but space is still limited. The link to register will be here on the website beginning September 1st.
The cost includes retreat t-shirt, meals beginning with Friday dinner to Sunday breakfast, snacks, sodas, and retreat materials. Rooms can be split 4 ways to lighten the cost and are booked separately.

2 – 6 pm Registration / Check-In in Veranda Room
4 – 5:30 pm “Fun” Breakouts – Breakout Session 1
(Includes 5 options: African American Haircare, Photography 101, Creative Quite Time, Blogger Panel “Using Your Blog for Outreach and Ministry”, Fun-Raising for Your Adoption); Snacks and Coffee served in registration room during this time
6 – 7:30 pm Dinner in the Plantation Ballroom
8 – 9:30 pm Welcome & Heart of Weekend, Worship and Main Session 1 in Grand Ballroom
(concluded with panel of adoptees and siblings)
9:30 pm “Adoption and Chocolate” – Coffee, chocolate desserts and Chat time (designated in different rooms by country/agency)
Saturday – March 24th
7 – 9 am Breakfast in Plantation Ballroom
9 – 10:30am Worship & Main Session 2 in Grand Ballroom
11:30 – 1 pm Lunch in Plantation Ballroom
1:30 – 3 pm Breakout Session 2 (6 options)
3:30 – 5 pm Breakout Session 3 (6 options)
6 – 7:30 pm Dinner in Plantation Ballroom
7:45 – 9 pm Evening Session in Grand Ballroom followed by worship and prayer time
9:30 pm PJ Party Panel – adoption moms answer questions and share on topics of adoptingbabies, older children, sibling groups, HIV & special needs children AND other topics including home school, cocooning & thriving as a big family

9 – 10:30 am Worship & Final Session & Challenge to our callings as moms
